The webconference on \u00abThe role of Regions, Governorates and Cities in the geopolitical future of the Euro-Mediterranean area\u00bb is organized by the Standing Committee of Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (COPPEM) and by the Region Sicily.
\nThe event will take place on December 1st 2021, from 9:30 to 12:00 CET through Zoom web platform. The conference is organized in the framework of the celebrations of day of the Mediterranean.
\nIn this difficult times for the Mediterranean area, seriously affected by epoch-making challenges such as healthcare, climate, migration and economic crisis, we truly believe in the need of a reinforced cooperation between Regional and Local Authorities of the two shores, that are closely connected to the citizens and territories.
\nThe participation of institutional representatives of Regional and Local Authorities of the Euro-Mediterranean area is confirmed. The final agenda of the conference and the viewers link will be published one week before the event on COPPEM’s website: www.coppem.org

\nCet \u00e9v\u00e9nement se d\u00e9roulera le 1er d\u00e9cembre 2021, de 9h30 \u00e0 12h00 CET sur la plateforme web Zoom. La conf\u00e9rence est organis\u00e9e dans le cadre des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la journ\u00e9e de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e.
\nEn cette p\u00e9riode difficile pour la r\u00e9gion m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne, gravement affect\u00e9e par des d\u00e9fis historiques tels que la sant\u00e9, le climat, les migrations et la crise socio-\u00e9conomique, nous croyons vraiment \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019une coop\u00e9ration renforc\u00e9e entre les autorit\u00e9s R\u00e9gionales et Locales des deux rives, qui sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s aux citoyens et aux territoires.
