Open door sessions of the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation

Two guided visits will be organised to welcome those curious about the outstanding building by the French architect Michel Pinseau, author of the big mosque in Casablanca. In 1992, different artisans came directly from Morocco to work on what is nowadays a catalogue of the many different decorative resources that the Arab world uses for decorating spaces. Visitors may enjoy a myriad of infinite geometric patterns painted on wood, and carved on cast and wood as well, together with colourful tile works. On these visits, experts will explain the connections between the different natural elements like water, earth, air, as well as the cultural openness and the spirituality evoked in all of its spaces.
