Feel the Mediterranean

Start date: 11/29/2022
End date: 11/29/2022

The ENI CBC MED Programme is thrilled to celebrate the Day of the Mediterranean again this year with a special evening to take place at the Palacio de las Comunicaciones in Valencia, Spain on 29th of November starting from 6PM.

After a very successful oil tasting event with young people in 2021, another emblematic Mediterranean agrofood product will be in the spotlight for the 2022 edition: wine. Thanks to our OENOMED project, the participants to the event will have the unique opportunity to taste mostly organic wines from France, Italy, Lebanon and Tunisia. Representatives from these countries will offer a journey through the history of wine and present their wine production during the event. A winery from the Region of Valencia will be invited as well.

Moreover, the photo exhibition “Faces and Places of the Mediterranean” will be officially launched: it contains a selection of pictures from ENI CBC MED projects to depict the positive and invaluable impact of cooperation across the Mediterranean on people, communities, and the environment. The exhibition has been designed to be a travelling showcase to be reproduced in other places of the Mediterranean in the coming months.

Finally, a series of videos featuring our project partners and beneficiaries’ contribution to the campaign “5 Senses – Which of your senses are stirred by just that word, Mediterranean” will be shown and participants will have the opportunity to meet some of women supported by the InnovAgroWoMed project in the Valencia region, and taste their agrifood products.

The event will take place in Valencia (Spain), on the 29th November 2022 (from 6PM) in the Palacio de las Comunicaciones. The event languages will be French and Spanish.
