18th Klapa Gathering – MARTINOVO LITO-KORČULA 2025

Start date: 11/08/2025
End date: 11/08/2025

At the beginning of November, Korčula is hosting the 18th Klapa Gathering – Martinovo Lito 2025, a traditional musical event that for nearly two decades has brought together top klapa ensembles from across Croatia, preserving the most valuable aspects of our cultural heritage – song, community, and tradition. The gathering is held in honor of St. Martin, the patron saint of winemakers, whose spirit once again unites song, tradition, and people.

This event is not only a musical celebration – through klapa singing, our Mediterranean identity is strengthened, connecting generations and highlighting the richness of Dalmatian cultural traditions.
As organizers, the Korčula Cultural Center and the City of Korčula take pride in maintaining the quality and continuity of this gathering, which has become an indispensable event in the Dalmatian klapa tradition.
This year’s Gathering features: the mixed klapa Ivo Lozica (Lumbarda), male klapa Krunik (Kučine), female klapa Moreška (Korčula), mixed klapa Pulena (Korčula), female klapa Ventula (Split), and male klapa Trogir (Trogir).

Here’s a quick snapshot of what the International Mediterranean Day logo can and can’t be used for.
