A unique concert to celebrate the Day of the Mediterranean was held in Barcelona on 30 November 2024, with a special design created by artist and painter Frederic Amat exclusively for the occasion.

Performing musical pieces including traditional songs, dances and chants from the rich historical musical tradition of the Mediterranean, guest artists Jordi Savall, Orpheus XXI and Athrodeel joined efforts to build bridges of dialogue and peace between peoples.

In addition, more than 20 musical performances took place across the region following a Call for Participation by the Anna Lindh Foundation.
