A concert by six of the best Croatian a capella groups held at the Korčula Cultural Center on the occasion of St. Martin’s Day for eighteen years in a row, thus nurturing and honoring tradition and customs.
Saint Martin is one of the most beloved saints of Korčula. On the eve of St. Martin’s Day, which is celebrated on November 11th, the people of Korčula would visit the homes of their fellow citizens, singing traditional carols, treating themselves to young wine, cakes and tallow cookie.
