The Junta de Andalucía (Regional Government of Andalusia, Spain), through the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation, organises the First Edition of the Mediterranean Awards, under the auspices of the Intermediterranean Commission of the Conference of Peripheral and Maritime Regions.

These Mediterranean Awards are created as a tool to make visible the best practices in the Mediterranean in the areas included in the European and Mediterranean agenda. The objective of these Awards, which are born now with a marked character of enduring over time, is to recognise the work of people and / or institutions, companies and other organisations that have contributed in boosting the Mediterranean identity by promoting sustainable and integrated development on all of its shores; fostering peace, intercultural and interreligious dialogue in the Mediterranean basin; focusing on our those elements that unite us to overcome what separates us. The ceremony will be transited live in streaming from Seville in Spain.

Here’s a quick snapshot of what the International Mediterranean Day logo can and can’t be used for.

  • The logo can be used by groups and organizations who like to align themselves with the International Mediterranean Day. It is to be used at events that in no way bring disrepute to the Mediterranean Day promoted values. It is also used for demonstrating support and involvement through non-saleable, non-commercial products and resources that promote or support Mediterranean Day aims and objectives.
  • The logo must not be used for any form of merchandising to generate commercial gain or sale of products. It must also not be used in association with any form of harmful, violent or illegal activity. To report breaches, please email communication@ufmsecretariat.org
