On the occasion of the Mediterranean Day and following the success of the first edition of Celebrating the Mediterranean, the Anna Lindh Foundation together with its Network of Civil Society organisations will organise community-based simultaneous musical performances in different countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region on November 28, 2023. Performances will take place in public spaces/facilities in collaboration with Local Administrations. The objective of the initiative is to orchestrate simultaneous free musical performances (lasting between an hour and a half and two hours) across different countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region on the same day and at the same time (around 19.00-20.00 CET) to generate a wave-like effect in celebrating the Mediterranean and its diversity at the community level.

Here’s a quick snapshot of what the International Mediterranean Day logo can and can’t be used for.

  • The logo can be used by groups and organizations who like to align themselves with the International Mediterranean Day. It is to be used at events that in no way bring disrepute to the Mediterranean Day promoted values. It is also used for demonstrating support and involvement through non-saleable, non-commercial products and resources that promote or support Mediterranean Day aims and objectives.
  • The logo must not be used for any form of merchandising to generate commercial gain or sale of products. It must also not be used in association with any form of harmful, violent or illegal activity. To report breaches, please email communication@ufmsecretariat.org
