The role of Regions, Governorates and Cities in the geopolitical future of the Euro-Mediterranean area

The webconference on «The role of Regions, Governorates and Cities in the geopolitical future of the Euro-Mediterranean area» is organized by the Standing Committee of Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (COPPEM) and by the Region Sicily.
The event will take place on December 1st 2021, from 9:30 to 12:00 CET through Zoom web platform. The conference is organized in the framework of the celebrations of day of the Mediterranean.
In this difficult times for the Mediterranean area, seriously affected by epoch-making challenges such as healthcare, climate, migration and economic crisis, we truly believe in the need of a reinforced cooperation between Regional and Local Authorities of the two shores, that are closely connected to the citizens and territories.

La conférence web sur «Le rôle des Régions, Gouvernorats et Municipalités dans le futur géopolitique de la zone Euro-Méditerranéenne» est organisée par le Comité Permanent pour le Partenariat Euro-Méditerranéen (COPPEM) et la Région Sicile.
Cet événement se déroulera le 1er décembre 2021, de 9h30 à 12h00 CET sur la plateforme web Zoom. La conférence est organisée dans le cadre des événements de célébration de la journée de la Méditerranée.
En cette période difficile pour la région méditerranéenne, gravement affectée par des défis historiques tels que la santé, le climat, les migrations et la crise socio-économique, nous croyons vraiment à la nécessité d’une coopération renforcée entre les autorités Régionales et Locales des deux rives, qui sont étroitement liés aux citoyens et aux territoires.
