Our trip to the Mediterraneo stops in Croatia with the presentation of the film screening (A Blue Flower) organised by the Embassy of Croatia in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Ireland, and the support of the Instituto Cervantes Dublin.

A Blue Flower was screened at a number of European festivals as well as festivals in neighbouring countries. At the 68th Pula Film Festival, he was awarded the Great Golden Arena for the best film, and the director Ogresta won the Golden Arena for the best director, while Vanja Ciric was awarded the Golden Arena for the best female lead. The film also won the Award of the International Critics’ Jury as the best film festival.

Here’s a quick snapshot of what the International Mediterranean Day logo can and can’t be used for.

  • The logo can be used by groups and organizations who like to align themselves with the International Mediterranean Day. It is to be used at events that in no way bring disrepute to the Mediterranean Day promoted values. It is also used for demonstrating support and involvement through non-saleable, non-commercial products and resources that promote or support Mediterranean Day aims and objectives.
  • The logo must not be used for any form of merchandising to generate commercial gain or sale of products. It must also not be used in association with any form of harmful, violent or illegal activity. To report breaches, please email communication@ufmsecretariat.org
